Facebook has file a suit against South Korean data analytics company Rankwave over a falling out of contract bridge after the society allegedly failed to shew that it was follow with Facebook ’s data policy .
Facebook read in the filing that it launch an investigation into Rankwave last June following the fellowship ’s attainment by a Korean entertainment company , a probe that on the face of it included examining “ whether any user data had been touch ” by Rankwave ’s conduct .
Facebook say that the party failed to provide evidence that it was adhering to Facebook ’s term of service and did not comply with a cease and refrain request sent to the company in February . In go wrong to comply with Facebook ’s rules , Rankwave “ harm Facebook ’s reputation , public faith , and good will , and caused Facebook to spend resource investigating and redressing Rankwave ’s wrongful deportment . ”
