A few years ago , Alan Jarastold a skill fiction narration on Flickr , using images of lechatelierite he ’d photographed under a microscope . He call it MicroWorld . Here are a few of the breathtaking persona and the incredible tale they recite .
The story is about explorers who land on the tiny humankind , whose laws of physics do n’t resemble anything they ’ve experience before . sea are solid ; unknown thrum spate slice the landscape ; transparent living signifier are everywhere . Jaras tells the account of their exploration , and eventual discovery that the planet is hurt from atmospheric toxins that will be burn out by a nearby supernova . Yes , it ’s Golden Age stuff , and incredibly fun to read . you may understand a few excerpts from Jaras ’ fib below , but I send word you to read the whole thing .

Abandoned

The Forest That Knew No Fractals

The timberland was their next roadblock ; trees with no branches , no leaves ; as if discase unornamented by some gigantic explosion . They pressed onward drawn by the strange light that beckoned .

Their journeying through the forest had luckily been uneventful and presently they reckon down on a great plain . The clay , of what they could only suppose as a mammoth theme parking lot , stretch out for mile . Their pulse began to race , was there a lost civilization to be found , or , like the apparent roller coaster , just a memory .

The Causeway
They continued , cautiously threading their way of life past the rock’n’roll pool of gas . By now they had learnt to look the unexpected on MicroWorld , but nothing prepared them for the sight that confront them as the reached the last of the ocean . A shimmer port plunged vertically downwards , the vast sea slash through and separated as if cleave by some gigantic sword . They stick out at the boundary of the shoring looking down at the immense throb bulwark and marvelled at the strange law of physics that governed this earth . The land too came to an abrupt end with no apparent style down while far below a lechatelierite sea slowly heaved , skreak and groaning as each swell ground immense metallic lances against each other . They walked slowly along the cliff top desperately explore for a way forward .

Rivers of petrol
The two gas layers began to mix and swirl but still seem to stay immiscible . In a unusual psychedelic terpsichore the green and violet layer of the sublimate ‘ snow ’ crystals spiral with the pink crawling ground fog as it bear on to rise and throw out towards them from deep below .
