The Bluetooth batch that HTC embark with the Droid Incredible lack financial support for Serial Port Profile ( SPP ) Bluetooth and Human Interface equipment ( HID ) Bluetooth . Which in layman ’s terms intend that a good deal of Bluetooth - outfit motorcar , keyboards , and other accessories just do n’t work with the Incredible .
According to a Droid Incredible user :
HTC did not charge the full version of Bluetooth that a person would pick up with 2.1 Android . The version on these phones is held over from a old edition of Android either due in part to burden sense ui and not upgrading these fundamental vital component or simply because it conflicted with Sense . Things that probably wo n’t work let in HID Bluetooth devices like a wii remote or bluetooth keyboard / mouse . Some other profile such as SPP may also not work because we merely do n’t have the most current Android version of Bluetooth installed on these devices . It ’s not cool that I do n’t have a complete 2.1 machine .
The topic is only really affecting a modest subset of users , because have ’s look it , not everyone is using the Droid Incredible with their BMW ’s and bluetooth keyboards .
