I ’m not 100 % certain why William Shatner is getting involved in the # SaveConstantine political campaign , but I ’m beaming to have him . The show was n’t amazing , but it was stymie by being on NBC at 8:00 pm , and still had a ton of charm — mainly thanks to Matt Ryan ’s damn - virtually perfect depicting of John Constantine . I would n’t advise getting your hopes up for someone to pounce in and write the series at this degree , but I ’d be lying if I said I did n’t have hope .
