Two melodic theme now being develop in Detroit – an automatic main road and a high-pitched - fastness monorail bus system – are combined in the conception of the Monoline Express , in which individual automobiles will use a fresh “ high route ” to commute to town or locomotion between cities .
General Motors proposes the “ autoline ” – a computer - see highway in which cars would journey almost bumper to bumper at amphetamine of 120 miles per hour or more . And a business concern grouping wants to see the two sections of the University of Michigan campus linked by a “ monobus ” which would move on a novel monorail guide trough up in the air . Put together , the two concepts ensue in automatonlike travel in your own car at sluttish aircraft upper !
