A Christian church in Sweden plans to deploy drones in parts of Iraq that are currently controlled by the Muslim terrorist grouping ISIS . But unlike the American military , they wo n’t be dropping turkey . The church plans to drop electronic Bibles .
“ The Scripture are the size of contraceptive pill box and have a display . They postulate no electrical energy but figure out on their own , ” the church service ’s commission director Christian Åkerhielm told Swedish TV broadcasterSVT . Åkerhielm also reject characterizations that the mission of drop Bibles is belligerent and instead told theWashington Postthat it ’s “ close to traditional smuggling of Holy Scripture . ”
The Christian church , known as church building Livets Ord , or “ Word of Life ” in English , founder a demo of the drones at a recent church religious service and station the photo to itsInstagram pageboy . It seems to be a Phantom DJI 4 model .

Åkerhielm told theWashington Postthat the church would be hiring a contractor to expect out the delegation . It ’s not immediately open who that contractile organ would be , how many drones would be operating , nor when they planned to carry through their mission .
“ Our ambition is to pass on the promise and love of the Christian gospel to a population living in unopen area where they are being deny human right , ” the Christian church said in a message on its nursing home page .
It ’s also unreadable both how many Bibles would be distributed and whether the electronic Bibles will be in English , Swedish , or Arabic .
