Being Human is back and even sorry than before ! Suicide attempts , bloody watering place tub , and intimate switheroos mark the quaternary season of this supernatural soap . We ’re about to see a lot of big , bragging changes for our gaggle of misfit monster .
The time of year premiere of Being Human took place a few month after the final episode , and it look like things have only stupefy worse for our main grapheme . Nora and Aidan have been task with the maintenance of Josh , who has become a reverse werewolf . Instead of turn into a wolf on the full lunar month , poor Josh is full wolf day and night EXCEPT when there is a full moon . So when Josh is a man , Nora ( who is a normal lycanthrope ) is a wolf . They only experience a few sad , fleeting second together ( they use to have raging , hot , straw - in - the - whiskers sexual urge , by nature ) and then it ’s quarantine time . It ’s all very Ladyhawke which the author actually MENTION in this episode and THAT , mightily THERE is why I will proceed to watch this show .
Even if I must be subjected to yet another episode of ghost purgatory at least the jokes are good . allow ’s get tangible , this show is at its good when it ’s just focused in on the three “ I ’ll do anything for you ” besties and how they grapple the never ending hill of shit they are handed each calendar week . This was only reinforced when Josh walked over to the ever patient Aidan during his one night of humankind , and Aidan immediately handed him a beer .
I can not accentuate enough how much I like these worker .
That being sound out , ENOUGH WITH THE PURGATORY . I can not do ghost purgatory again , even when it ’s being hold up in a very overnice health club - like circumstance . And I ’ll turn over it to whomever thought up “ perpetual resort hotel twenty-four hours ” — that ’s tasteful . But give thanks the all acknowledge sky wolf that this ghostly poky cell was seemingly patched up in some manner in one episode .
On the plus side of Sally and Donna ’s forever immurement , we ’re now seeing a whole Modern side to this last time of year baddie . Perhaps the Wiccan who ate the souls of Sally ’s friends was n’t such a giant after all . Or perhaps it ’s complicated . Either fashion I ’m very excited that she ’s sticking around . Especially because her position in last night ’s dramatic event allow for a very cool reveal .
I ’m talking about the vista where Sally fly her ghost jail and twist up hanged in a Wal - Mart ( or something that count like a Wal - Mart that ’s named Shop Mart or something because it ’s TV ) . Sally was live over Donna ’s hanging destruction which took place many , many years ago and now is the inwardness for 25 cent oranges . It was pretty fantastic to watch a crew of ghost pilgrims thigh-slapper at a hanging ghost in the midsection of this place . Well done .
Moving right along to Aidan . How is he doing now that it was deemed fourth dimension to tally him with a girlfriend name Kat ? Well , NOT GREAT BOB . Aidan ’s wifey is back . Yes his Ye Olden wife who was drowned for being a witch is back and very much animated and totally into get back with Aidan , perhaps . Where has she been all this prison term ? And is anyone getting the vibration that Aidan would gayly trade Kat for … .. eh his first wife * waves helping hand * whatever her name . Plus WHY did this serial publication insist on casting two brunet who attend so intimate ? I ’m jolly aroused to find out more about this honest-to-goodness wife billet mainly because I really only bonk Aidan when he ’s lugging around ten tons of silly guilty conscience , so this will be more of the same .
Also turns out Aidan ’s firebrand unexampled son ( the house of cards boy ) is back and that ’s all very exciting , mostly because I really do n’t have any other vampire characters to get mad about . However we all loved Bishop ( and it look like he ’s back in the promos for flashbacks ) and I adore the Amish Vampires . So rent ’s give the God Almighty some space peradventure the King Vampire Kid will turn out alright .
Truly the heart and soul of this return was all about the moonshine - spoil werewolf lovers Nora and Josh . The boy whelp ca n’t see a way out of this hellhole and turn to self-annihilation by silver tongue ( which — ha ! ) . Aidan who had the witty retort that he spent a century wanting to kill himself so he can understand suicidal signs , does n’t really buy that Josh wants to end it all . But one more passing with Nora pushes the pup over the border and he point out into the wild so his friends will be wedge to defeat him . But alternatively of stabbing Josh in Friedrich August Wolf material body to death , Sally firestarters all that motherfucker and they tranquilize the wolf .
Thinking about this deeper , storm your champion to kill you with a KNIFE ( or you will vote down them ) is an passing shitty means to go out . Josh , you ’re better than this .
And that ’s where I ’m leaving it , in a dark , dark place . I did n’t think there was much farther for this show to lessen ( darkness sassy ) but I was wrong . inverse werewolf is really just tremendously sad . Mostly for the short times you get to see Josh struggling with his own glimpses of mankind . It ’s good , and thank god this show is funny or this would just be too sad and soapy for me . Here ’s to another yr !
