Comic books on tablet are cracking . They ’re one of the best part of owning one , in reality . But the recoil from DC making a bunch of its most populargraphic novel exclusive to Amazoncould muck things up for everyone .
After the hand went public , Barnes and Noble and Books - a - Million ( the third - largest bookseller)pulled the 100 computer graphic novelsthat snuff it digital - exclusive from the shelves in their strong-arm computer memory . And that suck up for everyone .
As a consumer , it stinks all over the place . For one , if you ’re on any chopine other than Kindle , you ’re screwed if you want to read pop Bible like Watchmen , The Sandman , and Y : The Last Man . But then if you say screw it , I ’ll just nibble it up at the store , you wo n’t find it in the physical stores either . And if you ’re just a comedian fan , there ’s a chance that comics being off the shelves in bookshop could stunt the growth in a small - margin industry enough to get some of your favorite books invalidate .

And it does n’t even make great sense for Barnes & Noble . For year , comical publishing firm crouch over backwards to get their books into the brick and trench mortar stores , but with digital doing so well , they ’re actually drive more hoi polloi to strong-arm stores than ever before . So B&N is basically just turning away job ( maybe yours ) to send away a warning shot at Amazon and other publishers count sole deals . In the meantime , you’re able to ( and should ! ) go to your local comic workshop for your books . Or , ironically and not unexpectedly and gosh - Barnes-&-Noble - is - speechless - ly enough , get themfrom Amazon . [ NY Times ]
