But now , there ’s an end in sight : FX has announced the upcoming 14th time of year will be Archer ’s last .
Asthe Hollywood Reporter notes , FX revealed its summertime premiere dates today , among them Archer ’s 14th and final time of year ; it kick off August 30 with a twosome of episodes beam on FXX , with next - solar day cyclosis on Hulu . ( Also among those date announcements : FX’sWhat We Do in the Shadows ’ fifth season — it ’s already been greenlit for a sixth season as well — will premier with two installment on July 13 ! ) There ’s no Christian Bible yet on what Archer and ship’s company will get up to in time of year 14 , but it would n’t be excessive to gestate the series — always very fond of in - jokes and repeat catch phrase — to perhaps revisit preferred plots and guest characters from season past . The veritable mold let in H. Jon Benjamin , Aisha Tyler , Judy Greer , Chris Parnell , Amber Nash , Lucky Yates , and creator Adam Reed ( also one of its executive producers ) ; the dandy Jessica Walter was also a central member of the cast untilher passing in 2021 .
