This is so stupid . Apple has added a product rating to their on-line store , letting user present reviews of products and give them a one- to five - star evaluation — unless those products chance to be Apple branded . If it ’s an Apple - made product , like an iPod Dock , for instance , it automatically get a ‘ five Apple ’ rating , “ because we consider they re neat . ”
It gets worse . In the small pop - up FAQ box it read :
Why can t client rate Apple product ?
Would you hope us to display less than pure rating on our own product ? We didn t think so !
What does that even mean ? We would n’t believe you to … be dependable ? To take a few lumps if your mathematical product is less - than - perfect ? What a cop out . If they were n’t locomote to let Apple product be rated and reviewed , they should n’t have added the feature at all . ( Thanks , gruverja ! )
