Today , FX ever - so - slightly cracked launch the chestburster egg to let us knowAlien : Earthis issue forth in Summer 2025 – and cod a few more tiny item about just what the show will be about beyond Aliens and Earth .
To be just , it did so by mostly re - using the same tease we start aroundAlien : Romulus . There’san Earth , there ’s a Xenomorph , boom , Alien : Earth ! This clock time , however , the teaser is extendedjuuuusta small . Although largely the same , the tease now concludes with a few short sharp flash of footage among the atmospheric static : there ’s a shot of a Xenomorph testicle hatching , a secret black eye ( perhaps an Engineer ? ) , and what is likely a woman call . InAlien‘s vast chronology , that places it just two age before the upshot of the original 1979 movie . It hadbeen antecedently reportedthatEarthwould take place some three decades before the events ofAlien , but this shift to a time geological period just before the movie is certainly interesting .

The show will , as the name hint , be the firstAlienproject largely adjust on Earth , and follows a squad of tactical soldier and a unseasoned cleaning lady who get across a secret vessel that break apart lands on the planet , as part of a search and saving military operation .
