mod do n’t get much simple and more utilitarian than this : It ’s an alarm clock that whisk open some window blinds when the alarm work off , so the Sunday can tempt you out of bed . There ’s a microcontroller to handle detecting the warning signal sign and to drive a servomechanism wire into the blinds , and some switches to override the dismay and open or end the blind on command . Check the telecasting of it in action .

Looks great , but honestly you ’d need to wire a jumbo servo to my foot to draw me out of bottom rather than habituate ward-heeler like this , but YMMV . [ Hackaday ]
